Wingsuit First Flight Course(FFC) Syllabus
Tokyo Skydiving Club
【Course Objective】
- Exit avoiding the horizontal stabilizer. (Avoiding tail strikes.)
- Practice Pulls with on-heading navigation.
- Clean deployment
【Qualification for FFC】
- The candidate must have at least 200 jumps, and he or she has to make more than 20 jumps within the preceding 3 months. The candidate who has more than 500 jumps may be exempt from this condition.
- The candidate must have USPA C license or higher license.
- The candidate must have appropriate gear for FFC. (The person who doesn’t have appropriate gear should use a rental gear from the club.)
- The candidate is a member of the club. (The candidate has to be insured.)
- The candidate must have canopy skills to get back to the DZ and he or she has to be recognized their proficiency by the club.
【Date of the FFC】
The date of the FFC will be arranged with students who take the course.
【Application of the FFC】
The candidate has to apply to the club by e-mail.

【Course Fee】
5,000 yen /course (Including rental wingsuit fee for two jumps.)
Jump tickets for the coach will be required other than above cost.
【Required equipment for the FFC】
- Hard Helmet
- Chest mount altimeter
- Audible
- AAD
- Non-Elliptical canopy should not be loaded more highly than 1.1:1.

Dive Flow
- Close wings on exit, and jump out of airplane while watching the airplane.
- “Jump One Thousand” while closing wings (for about 2 seconds.)
- Open wings, then “Fly One Thousand.”
- 90 degree turn
- Practice pull and wave-off
- (Look) Coach -> Altimeter -> Heading
- Wave-off at 5,500ft
- Pull by 5,000ft
- Get back to the landing area
